A handmade greeting card featuring an original woodblock mono print.
I created this woodblock print as part of a series of Australian Flora designs, focusing on the shape and pattern qualities of their leaves, flowers, fruits & nuts.
My design process involves initial sketches and watercolour paintings, where I get to know my subject really well, and then I create a digital image that can be transferred to a laser cutter where I create my woodblocks.
The pattern name is Gum Leaves Woodblock.

This listing is for a single card, the main print colour is black on handmade textured cream coloured cotton paper approx 120 x 120mm, stitched onto brown recycled card.
Cards are blank on the inside for your own message.
This card is 150 x 150mm, made from brown Kraft card and comes with a Kraft paper paper envelope 160mm x 160mm, protected by a cellophane bag.
I will post your greeting card in a cardboard envelope by Australia Post.
The charm of hand printed items means that every print is unique, the appearance of each card in a print run can vary slightly, therefore the card you receive may look a little different from the images above.
