Description
An original watercolour painting with ink details on paper.
This original painting is inspired by Jacobean tapestry designs from the 16th century, they featured many floral shapes and patterns. I have interpreted them into simple flower shapes with leaf details, using a limited colour palette of blue turquoise, green and yellow.
The watercolour paper size is approx. 6″ x 6″, the watercolour painting covers approx 5½” x 5½” of the paper.
The materials I used are watercolour paint and ink on heavy watercolour paper.
The painting is packaged in a clear cellophane bag.
I will post the painting flat in a cardboard envelope by Australia Post.
