Description
A handmade calico wine bottle bag, featuring a hand printed woodblock print design in black. Designed and made in Melbourne, Australia.
The bag is handmade from natural calico fabric.
Simple fabric ties can be tied together at the bottle neck position to close the bag.
All interior seams are finished with no raw fabric edges exposed.
Designed for a standard 750ml wine bottle.
The bag is decorated with Australian Flora inspired patterns using handmade woodblock prints on one side, using Speedball Fabric Block Printing Ink.
The wood printing blocks are fabricated on a laser cutter from my original designs.
Dimensions:
31cm wide x 14cm tall, with a 8cm gusset.
Care:
Preferably don’t wash, just sponge any stains.
I have done a gentle hand wash test, and whilst the Speedball printing ink is washable, on my test sample I found the ink print faded slightly.
The charm of hand printed items means that every print is unique, the appearance of each impression in a print run can vary slightly, therefore the bag you receive may look a little different from the images above.
