I used one of my own fabric designs – Gum Doodle Teal, in a lightweight cotton fabric to make a simple tablet cover.
I selected cotton wadding for the padding and white cotton fabric for the lining, then I simply laid out the layers of fabric in order on a flat surface, placed the tablet on top, drew around it and cut out the shape.
I over-locked the side and bottom seams, and then finished off the raw edges of the sleeve with cotton woven binding tape. Its a quick and easy method of making a bespoke sized sleeve that fits your particular tablet snugly.
I created my Gum Doodles fabrics in four colour ways. The fabric is now available to purchase on the digital printing website Spoonflower.com
