Hello all, here are the details for our online class this Thursday evening, 2nd April.
This week you can paint along with me and create a loose watercolour featuring oranges.
We will continue using the glazing techniques we looked at last week, and for the background we will explore wet in wet techniques.

For our session you will need:
- Your oranges printout, ordinary copy paper is fine for this exercise.
- A spare piece of paper to try out your paint mixes on before applying colour to your painting.
- Watercolour paints a warm yellow, cool yellow, orange (or warm red to mix with yellow) cool blue, turquoise and a dark cool blue.
- Watercolour brushes.
- 2 pots of clean water
- Rag or kitchen roll (for wiping your brushes on)
Here are the actual colours I used to paint the above and below images on photocopy paper.
Cadmium yellow or Gamboge
Lemon yellow or Hansa yellow
Indigo or Prussian Blue
